Join the OBX Beekeeping Guild this November for our Annual Honey Tasting Contest. A golden tradition where members share their finest harvests and the community helps crown the Best Honey of 2025. From wildflower to coastal clover, come sample, savor, and cast your vote for the hive’s top honor.

About the event
Join us for one of the sweetest events of the year as the OBX Beekeeping Guild hosts our Annual Honey Tasting Contest. This is a celebration for all members, families, and friends of the beekeeping community, and everyone is welcome to attend even if you are not a member.
We will be sampling the very best honey from our local beekeepers and voting to crown the Best Honey of 2025. Each participant may enter one honey of their choice — either light or dark — to showcase their hard work and the unique flavors of their hives.
A delicious meal will be provided for all. If you would like to bring a side dish or dessert, we would love to share in your homemade contributions.
