No Meeting In July – Video Suggestions Instead!

As July is typically a very busy summer month for all, we usually don’t hold a meeting. This year of 2019 is no exception… but we plan to reconvene in August for our annual Group Social/Extraction event! Information and Date to follow in a future email & post.

In the meantime, here are a couple of good videos to watch from Dr. Jamie Ellis, Associate Professor of Entomology at the University of Florida. One details a very destructive pest we frequently deal with in the summer & early fall months – small hive beetle. The other video involves Honey Bee Biology, which is good basic knowledge when trying to keep bees!

Have an enjoyable July – we’ll get together for socializing & extracting in August!
